Update Galaxy GIO S5660 with KitKat 4.4.2

Steps to Update Samsung Galaxy GIO S5660 with KitKat 4.4.2

Step 1: Follow all the requirements and then check the device model by settings->about phone-> model number.

Step 2: Now download the Kitkat 4.4.2 for Samsung Galaxy GIO S5660 along with Google App pack in the computer from here.

Step 3: With the help of USB cable connect the Samsung Galaxy GIO S5660 to computer and copy paste both the zip file in the root of the SD card. You must not save it in any sub folder because it won’t get detected in recovery mode. Then detach the cable and hold the phone in hand.

Step 4: Switch off the phone and then press the buttons to enter the device in recovery mode. Volume up key+home+power button and wait for few seconds. If impossible then with ROM Manage app will help you to get the device in recovery mode.
