Steps to update Galaxy Note 8.0 with official Jellybean 4.2.2 firmware
Step 1: Well, first step is to do the backup using Kies and then downloading the official Jellybean 4.2.2 firmware with Odin from above given link to your computer.
Step 2: Take those two zip files and extract with suitable extractor and place in desktop to find them easily. Double click on odin execution file to launch it on computer.
Step 3: Take the device in hand and switch it off. Then press the Volume Down key+ menu+ power button. Holding the buttons till the device land in download mode. As soon as it enters connect the device to computer via USB cable.
Step 4: Connecting the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, in the Odin panel the ID:COM will turn blue to yellow which means the device got detected by the Odin and its time to select thinks in next step.
Step 5: Click on PDA and choose the tar file that was extracted by you in step 2. Meanwhile come back and hit the Start to flash the official update on the device.
