Tutorial to Root, Unlock Boot loader & Install Custom Recovery on LG Optimus G LS970


LG Optimus G was announced in IFA 2012 in Berlin. The device is 4.7 inches with Jellybean 4.1 running as its operating system. Steps to root, unlock the bootloader and install CWM Recovery of LG Optimus G LS970

Step 1: First follow all the requirements and then check the model number that must be mentioned as LS970. Then follow the next step.

Step 2: You should download the All in one tool kit from here to your computer and extract it.

Step 3: Now take the LG Optimus G device and connect it to computer via USB cable. Now you will get the message “Charge-Only mode” appear on screen and that must be chosen. Make sure the USB Debugging is enabled and later can be disabled.

Step 4: Now go to GAIO tool folder that was downloaded by you and open it. There you have to select few things to achieve the desire.
