Procedure to Update Galaxy Note II with official XXDMC3 Jellybean 4.1.2

Step 1: After backing up things you must jump over the procedure but carefully.

Step 2: First download the official XXDMC3 Jellybean 4.1.2 pack ( for Galaxy Note II and then the odin ( pack. These two files are to be extracted by “extract here” through WinRar software. Make a folder and place both the extracted file and save it in desktop.

Step 3: Now switch off the device and then press Volume Down key+ menu button+ power button together. Release the buttons when the green robot appears on screen.

Step 4: Double click on the Odin to launch it and then connect the device to computer. The Odin detects the device by generating the pass message. If not then the ID: COM box will not turn yellow and the solution to this is to upgrade the KIES.

Step 5: Click on PDA and select the tar file and click on start to initiate the program. Wait for 4 minutes to update the phone. The device will reboot automatically and then detach the cable.
