Install Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510 [How To]
After going through sale hullabaloo, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 got its place in hearts of many Android tablet lovers and today for all those users here is the JellyBean 4.1.1 update. By default the device runs on 3.2 Honeycomb OS but updating with the xda developers ‘Jelly Bean 4.1 Alpha Build package’ it will get the features of Jellybean. This is not the official update but definitely based on the official source of Jelly Bean by Google. Rejoice the alpha built for now where couple of things like camera and aGPS doesn’t work properly or dead. The update is under construction and hopefully the full version will get released by the member soon.

- Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi GT-P7510 with custom recovery installed and flashed with TWRP recovery 2.2.0
- Computer with internet connectivity and USB cable
- Make sure the battery power must be at least 60% so that it sustain till the procedure ends
- The tablet data must be backuped by cloud sync or the apps available in the Google PLAY
Steps to Install Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean on Galaxy Tab 10.1 P7510
Step 1: Download Jelly Bean 4.1 Alpha Build package in your computer and make sure that you haven’t unzipped it.
Step 2: Download GApps package in your computer.
Step 3: Now via USB cable connect the Tab 10.1 to computer and place the downloaded file in the SD card. Make sure that you haven’t placed too deep inside or in any sub folder.
Step 4: Up next switch off the device to enter into CWM Recovery and to do this press the Volume Up button and the power button and then release the power button you see the screen turn on and then release the volume button when the menu shows up. Press the Volume Down to select the Recovery mode icon and then press the Volume Up key to enter into recovery.
Step 5: You must make NANDroid backup of your present custom ROM by selecting Backup and Restore-> Backup and go back to recovery menu.
Step 6: Now select Wipe data/Factory Reset-> Wipe cache partition-> Advanced-> Wipe Dalvik cache-> Mounts and storage > Format /system (in all confirm the action to go next).
Step 7: After the data are wiped go back to recovery menu and select Install ZIP From SD Card > Choose ZIP From SD Card and choose the downloaded zip file which was place by you earlier in step 3.
Step 8: The installation will take few minutes to complete and then select Go Back-> Reboot System Now.
Don’t forget to check the firmware by tapping on Settings-> About Tablet-> Firmware.
